What Folkso collects, why, and who gets it.
What we collect
From specialists: a sign-in email, name, category, description, skills, city, time zone, languages, rate, way of working, links to work, availability and a contact channel. From people hiring: a sign-in email, the request text and one contact for replies. A contact is stored only after its owner confirms it.
Why
To turn a request into a task description, find matching people and pass the brief to the person chosen. The data is not used for anything else.
What the model receives
ChatGPT or Claude gets only the fields the current operation needs. Specialists' emails, phone numbers and messengers are never passed to the model.
Models inside Folkso
Jev by TypeSafe orders people in search results and checks texts. It receives the texts of a profile and its ideas, the request and the task description. Names and contacts stay with us. The check looks for ads and fraud, and a Folkso staff member reviews doubtful cases. Skill suggestions from “About” and the photo check run on Anthropic and Google models through Vercel AI Gateway, and semantic search runs on them too. None of these services trains models on our data. Our data processing agreement with TypeSafe includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Each service keeps requests for its own period set in its API terms.
Who we share with
A specialist's contact is shared with the person hiring under the rule the specialist chose. Our infrastructure runs on Vercel and Supabase, the models are listed in the section above. We don't sell lists or databases to anyone.
How long we keep it
A profile lives until the specialist deletes it. Intro records and the access log are kept longer, they are needed to resolve disputes.
Your rights
You can pause, export and delete your profile in the console. Deleting removes it from search at once. Plugin access is revoked in ChatGPT or Claude settings.
