How to tell your AI who you like working with
Two contractors sent you almost the same portfolio, with rates $5 an hour apart. You took the cheaper one, and by week three you were on your fourth call of the day. They think out loud. You decide quietly, in a document.

How Folkso reads it
Folkso reads this in two steps. First it checks that a person does the job you named, from their skills and past projects to their rate and hours. Then it looks at vibe, meaning their pace, whether they prefer calls or writing, how they decide and what matters to them. It compares that with how you work and looks for what you share.
The lab has numbers for this. Among people equal on the work, the search put the best match on vibe first in 38% of searches, against 25% at random. When the seeker had their own Folkso profile, it was 43%. The test ran on invented profiles, so real searches may vary.
Why this beats a marketplace
- Work comes first. Folkso checks that a person can do the job before it looks at vibe, so someone pleasant who can't do the work stays out of your list.
- Vibe has words. A marketplace has a star rating and a price filter, and no field for "writes more than calls". Here you say it once in the chat, and it counts in the match.
- A reason you can check. Cards come with a short reason in words, such as a shared preference for writing, and you can compare it with the profile.
- People who expect your message. People in the results made their own profile and marked themselves open to this kind of work, so your message reaches someone ready for it.
